Have any members photos of Richard Thomas and Baldwin Ltd. of Kidderminster? My Dad worked for Ivor Hinton and was on contract to RTB. The only photos I have managed to get were given to me by John Hinton, son of Ivor.
We run the Transport Enthusiasts Club with 60 members and meet at the British Legion, Severn Road, Stourport on Severn on the third Wednesday of the month. See calendar for events

How did we let this happen, as a life member and one who attended the first show at Cranfield, I have to ask myself and every other member...why did we not help, why did we leave it to the trusty commnittee and ignore their requests for help every year.

We are to blame, it is everyones loss, not just ours.

I refer the reported ending of ther Classic Commercial Motor Show of course.

An ashamed member.

i have just received my latest issue of the cvrtc magazine and I noticed with great sadness that the annual rally will be no more. This has grown to be the best rally of the season, so I would like to pass on mine and Jims thanks to all concerned.

My names george. I recently discovered this website while looking through the giant mass of information known as the internet. I am in possession of a foden s21 Reg. VMC 94G. As i am only 15 i cannot drive the vehical so i leave that up to my grandad who was once the owner of Rush Truck. A lorry firm from kidderminster that he ran. If anyone has heard of it/ dealed with it etc. im sure he would be delighted to hear. Great Website!.

Well - here's a suprise to all of you who thought I wasn't yet connected to the internet. So now I've got the chance to congratulate all concerned for making up a superb website but particularly to Bob Rust as I think he is responsible for probably most of this work. Well done.

Congratulations othe website. It would be great to have a discusion forehum for members posts only but with public viewing. I think this could increase the memership and hence our finances. The Gardner Enthusiasts operate such a scheme

What a brilliant website. Well done Bob !

The Night Trunk B&W photo is so evocative.
I suppose we'd all like to think of it as a road on which we used to travel. It could be almost anywhere along an old style trunk road. It might be the A11, I think Bob Rust said once. I thought maybe the Basingstoke end of the A30.
It would be interesting to know where.
Best wishes to all the club.

Well the show has just got even better (if thats possible!), today I've received an A3 poster from Gaydon after entering their free competition in which you had to name the makes of vehicles. Shame the poster isn't off a lorry but never mind.

Thoroughly enjoyed this years show, in fact I would go as far as saying this was the best yet, I don't know if this was because we were there for both days which enabled us to take a more leisurely look at everything, or because there was a lot of new exhibits or even if it was because I had my first stint at marshalling there (feel free to put me down for the same two stints next year). Well done to all involved your hard work definatly paid off.
