Dennis Miller Award

In memory of a well respected member, each year the club makes the Denis N Miller award.

This is a literary prize for the best contribution to the Club's Newsletter, as voted by the members. It consists of a £25 cash award and one years free membership.

The 2007's contribution came from Adrian Cypher on his experiences as a young lorry spotter in the west of England. It appeared over several issues one of the firms mentioned is shown below.





A MISPENT YOUTH

Alright, I admit it, I was never cut out for a sporting life! I happily accepted the fact at a very early age, although at the time, I little realised that it was to result in a lifetime spent looking at lorries. Around the age of twelve I was attending the Council School in the Wiltshire market town of Wootton Bassett
